Stanley W. “Papa” Rogers
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Stanley W. “Papa” Rogers, 60, of Havelock, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at his home.
He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel, Morehead City, with the Rev. John B. Pollock officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Sharyn Rogers; mother, Louise Rogers of Havelock; one son, Wayne Rogers and wife Stefanie of Midlothian, Va.; two daughters, Laura Harper of Alabaster, Ala., and Kelly Dunn of Newport; one brother, Larry Rogers of Havelock; two sisters, Linda Geissinger and husband Dick of Newport, and Ellen Wolf and husband Greg of Chocowinity; and grandchildren Andy, Bailey, Emily, Tanner, Delaney, Max, Kenly, Nathan and Olivia.
The family will receive friends after the service.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexander Pike, Cold Springs, KY, 41076.
