Minnie Lou Bryant Smith
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Minnie Lou Bryant Smith, 79, of X-198 Craven Terrace, New Bern, formerly of Bridgeton, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the home of her daughter.
She retired as a presser for MWR Cleaners of Cherry Point and was a member and mother of House of Judah.
Funeral service was Sunday at Oscar's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, New Bern, with the Rev. Rosevelt Matthews officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Reginald Smith of Bridgeton; seven daughters, Janet Smith of Bayboro, Nancy Smith and Elaine Smith of Dallas, Luvinia Mack, Alice Smith and Barbara Smith, all of New Bern, and Katherine Smith of Bridgeton; one brother, Earl Bryant of Ernul; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter at 2504 New Bern Ave.
