Havelock plans Music in the Park series
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Havelock Cultural Arts Committee's Music in the Park series is scheduled for each Thursday in August.
The series begins with performances from the Carolina Kismet Belly Dancers and Nuestro Ritmo, a Latin dance group, on Aug. 7.
Performances are scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday in August at Havelock City Park. Other performers are being lined up for Aug. 14, 21 and 28.
The performances are free, and those attending can bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic dinners.
In case of rain, the performances will take place at the Havelock Tourist and Event Center.
A Grassroots Program Fund grant through the Craven Arts Council and Gallery funds the series.
