Jerry 'Vance' Scott
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Jerry "Vance" Scott, 38, formerly of Havelock, passed away May 12, 2008, on his birthday.
Vance graduated from Clark Fork High School, where he was very active in all sports, in 1988. He entered the Marine Corps out of high school and served during Desert Storm. Vance lived in North Carolina since getting out of the service. He moved back to Washington state in February. He was looking forward to getting back to nature with hunting and fishing again.
He is survived by his mother and "Pops," Jean and Ted Axelson of Deer Park, Wash.; his two children, daughter Nisa Scott of Greenville and son Logan Anderson of Morehead City; his father, Homer Scott of Texas; three brothers, John Mounce of California, Adam Scott of Seattle and JR Scott of Texas; three sisters, Kim Orosco of Deer Park, Wash., Jeanette Scott of Florida and Christina Scott of Massachusetts; two stepsisters, Tamie Axelson and Theresa Axelson of Montana.
In lieu of flowers, a fund to help care for nine-week-old Logan Anderson has been set up at Bank of America.
