Make way for Ham's

A building that once was home to the Earth Works gardening center is torn down Monday along U.S. 70 in Havelock. The building is on property where a new Ham’s Restaurant is to be built. There is no opening date for the restaurant, which will feature a variety of American dishes such as burgers, chicken, seafood and sandwiches, among other menu items.
