She was born in Germany on July 18, 1964. She was the owner of Liane’s Cakes and Pies in Morehead City.
Services will be private.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Thompson; her mother Marion Gemske of Jacksonville; two sisters, Brenda Snavly and Laura Lee Lewis of Newport; and two brothers, Jerry Snavly of Newport and Joey Lewis of Lexington, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2418 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 206, Raleigh, NC 27607.
