Jean Thompson White, 88, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Britthaven of Havelock.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church with the Rev. Dan Oschwald officiating.
Burial will follow at New Bern National Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Thompson McDonald of LaQuinta, Calif.; three sons, Stephen Sherburne Thompson of the Tuscarora community, Michael Halsey Thompson of New Bern and Mark Robert Thompson of Havelock; one sister, Bette Palmquist of California; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Annunciation Catholic Church, 246 E. Main St., Havelock, NC 28532.
Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
