Albert Henry Toon Jr., 47, of 416 Cahoogue Creek Road, Havelock, died Monday, June 29, 2009, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

He was a 1980 graduate of Havelock High School and worked as a commercial truck driver for Wheatly Oil Company in Morehead City.

He is survived by his mother, Melvina H. Toon of Havelock; and three sisters, Darlene Hilton of Newport News, Va., Denise Godette of Havelock and Todasco Taylor of Sanford.

Funeral will be noon Friday at Hyman Chapel AME Zion Church with the Revs. Irvin Hickman and Johnnie R. Smith officiating.

Burial will be in the William and Gracie Godette Cemetery in Havelock.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
