Trinity yard sale to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Trinity Presbyterian Church in Havelock has scheduled a yard sale to benefit Habitat for Humanity for 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Proceeds from the yard sale will go to support the purchase of construction materials needed for Habitat homes.

The church, located at 206 Miller Blvd., is also accepting donations of goods for the yard sale and monetary donations to support Habitat for Humanity.

Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity recently completed construction of a home in Newport and is working on two other homes on N.C. 101 just outside Havelock.

The purpose of the organization is to provide shelter to deserving families who invest sweat equity into the construction of the home.
