Juanita Close Littleton

Juanita Close Littleton, 49, of Country Club Drive, Jacksonville, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at her home.

She was born in St. Augustine, Fla., and worked for Moore Buick for nine years as the finance manager. She enjoyed her four-legged friend and companion, Piglet.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville with the Rev. Leon Whaley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Whaley Family Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Ashlie Nicole Gaskill of Jacksonville; one son, Michael Tristan Gaskill of Belhaven; special friend, Christopher N. Edwards of Jacksonville; her mother, Grace Williams Gillikin of Beaufort; five brothers, Rodney C. Harvey Jr. of Beaufort, Leon D. Harvey of Pierson, Fla., Alan R. Harvey of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Sterling Gillikin of Newport and Clay Gillikin of Havelock; and three sisters, Elizabeth H. Lewis of Republic of Marshall Islands, Rhonda A. Piner of Tavernier, Fla., and Darbi Reyes of Snow Hill.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
