William Edwin Zimmerly, 59, of New Bern died Sunday, June 29, in San Diego. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Chapel. His remains will be scattered at a private ceremony. He is survived by his wife, Marie A. Zimmerly; three sons, John William Zimmerly of Acworth, Ga., Jason Neeley of Marietta, S.C., and Matthew Lee Zimmerly of Indianapolis; three daughters, Sarah Arthur of New Bern, Rachel Kelly of Pomona, Calif., and Caroline Zimmerly of New Bern; two brothers, James Zimmerly of Mobile, Ala., and Kenneth Zimmerly of Indianapolis; one sister, Sarah Raper of Bloomington, Ind.; mother, Helen Zimmerly; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. after the service at the home, 190 North Castle Drive, New Bern. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Word's Christian Fellowship, 4401 Yank Road, Wilson, N.C. 27893. |
