Bertha Norris Dean
Bertha Norris Dean, 74, of Vanceboro, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at her residence.
She was a member of Freedom Tabernacle in the Adams Creek community and worked in the service industry for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Dean of Vanceboro and Jon Dean of Havelock; one daughter, Teresa Kirby of Vanceboro; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel, New Bern, with the Rev. J.R. Daugherty officiating.
Burial will be at a later time in Barnett Cemetery in Hobucken.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
