Clyde Katherine Morris Cvetko

Clyde Katherine Morris Cvetko, 92, of Raleigh, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at the Covington Assisted Living Facility in Raleigh.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1917, in Pinkney to Connie William and Zilphia Garris Morris. She was a charter member of Cherry Point Baptist Church.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Cherry Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Helton officiating.

Burial will follow at New Bern National Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Donald Louis Cvetko and wife Julia Raynor Cvetko of Raleigh; one daughter, Karen Cvetko Conrad and husband Larry Gray Conrad of Raleigh; one sister, Jennie Morris Pegram and husband Leo of Cary; one brother in-law, George “Buck” Sloan of Cary; and six grandchildren, Mark Conrad, Matthew Conrad, Sarah Cvetko, Katherine Cvetko McElroy and husband Richard, John Kerr, and Steven Cvetko.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cvetko; three sisters, Melba Sloan, Katie Jordan and Dollie Jordan; and one brother, Perry Exum Morris.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
