Fundraiser benefits Boys and Girls Club
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Carolina is the beneficiary of the Do Something 101 campaign being held at Staples in Morehead City.
The campaign's goal is to have teens collect school supplies until Aug. 31. The supplies can be dropped off at Staples, and the donated items will then be provided to the Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Carolina, which operates the club in Havelock.
Customers at Staples can also donate $2 toward the purchase of school supplies.
"The Do Something initiative is a wonderful way for local area youth to get involved in giving back to their community," said Leisa Smith, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Carolina. "Teens helping other youth and ultimately helping themselves will help us create a better community."
