Rena Mae Hill Bell

Rena Mae Hill Bell, 94, of Newport, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at home.

She was an active member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of the Women of the Church and served as organist, pianist and church treasurer for many years. She worked for Hamilton Furniture and Appliance in Beaufort for many years.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wildwood Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Louie Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, J. Bonner Bell; a daughter, Anne Bell Walsh of Newport; a brother, Joe W. Hill of Newport; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be sent to Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 276 Wildwood Road, Newport, NC 28570.

Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Home, Morehead City.
