Katie Cartwright, drum major of the Havelock High School band, leads members through a practice during last week's band camp. Band members spent the week during camp getting ready for this year's outdoor show, which will have a Dr. Seuss theme. The band will perform the show at halftime or after Havelock High home football games and at various competitions throughout the fall, including the Crystal Coast Band Classic set for Nov. 1 at Havelock High.
