Allison “Al” Demertrius McCabe
Allison “Al” Demertrius McCabe, 43, of Smyrna, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012.
He was a 1987 graduate of Havelock High School, 1992 graduate of UNC-Greensboro and was a manager for Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Piney Grove AME Zion Church, Havelock, with the Rev. Robert Little Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Alesia Mallory McCabe; one son, Jordan Isaiah McCabe of Smyrna, Ga.; his parents Isaiah M. McCabe and Mizella Becton McCabe of Havelock; two brothers, Cedric L. McCabe Sr. of Fayetteville and Clifton D. McCabe of Knightdale; five sisters, Sylvia M. Roberts of Havelock, D. Sherol Baker of Power Springs, Ga., Mavis McCabe Ross of Jacksonville, Livia F. McCabe of Durham and Corliss McCabe Lane of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends at his parents’ home, 635 Blades Road, Havelock.
Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern.
