Tickets for preferred air show seating go on sale
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Tickets for preferred seating for the 2008 Cherry Point Air Show are now on sale.
A variety of packages are available from single-day tickets to group packages for the entire three-day event.
The air show is scheduled for June 6 to 8 and includes a Friday night show and two day shows Saturday and Sunday, highlighted by a performance by the Blue Angels. The Navy jet demonstration team will be performing at Cherry Point for the first time since 2005.
The air show also includes a variety of static displays of airplanes as well as various performances in the air from stunt pilots and aircraft demonstrations.
General admission for those wishing to bring a blanket and simply sit on the tarmac is free.
However, bleacher seating, box seats and pavilion seating is available at various costs for various packages ranging from $6 to $35.
Pavilion seating includes a front-row chalet, catered meal and an official program.

Meanwhile, the air show is accepting applications for exhibit space on the flightline and at its Outdoor Recreational Show.
Businesses can put up tents and showcase their services to a crowd that is expected to total more than 100,000 during the course of the three-day event.
