  • Are your insurance premiums too high? Lost your job? Maybe we have leaders who dont have a clue about how to lead?
It seems everyone (except for Barack Obama and Harry Reid) knows how cash-strapped this country is. We need money for education, health care and Medicare. Social Security is going broke. Infrastructure is falling apart.
But were really not broke. We just have our priorities in the wrong places. Maybe we should look toward the United Nations.
I have a list of 18 Arabic/Islamic states that receive foreign aid from us while voting against the U.S. at the United Nations between 67 percent and 83 percent of the time. Seems like they hate us but love our money.
For example, India receives $144 million from the U.S. annually but votes against us 81 percent of the time. Jordan receives $193 million and votes against us 71 percent of the time. Egypt votes against us 79 percent of the time but still receives $2 billion annually.
Pakistan receives $6.7 billion annually while voting against us 75 percent of the time. Even Saudi Arabia, at 73 percent, and Syria, who votes against us 84 percent of the time, get money. (This may have changed by now.) Why Syria? Why do we support those who hate us?
This is from the actual voting records, which are recorded in both the U.S. State Department and the United Nations records.
Just think what all we could do with our tax dollars if we could ever find politicians that had enough of what it takes to tell the U.N. that we have better needs for our tax money right here at home.
Maybe we should start asking our legislators where they stand on this.
