  • THE GAME
    Havelock (15-0) is scheduled to play Concord (15-0) for the state 3A championship at 11 a.m. Saturday at Raleigh’s Carter-Finley Stadium.
    TICKETS
    Havelock High School is selling advance tickets during regular school hours today and Thursday, and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday. Tickets at the high school are $9 each, while tickets at the gate are $10. The gate is expected to open at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, and Havelock fans will be seated on the east side of the stadium and enter through gates 8 and 9.
    DIRECTIONS
    For those driving to the game, follow U.S. 70 West to Interstate 40 West. Continue on the interstate and take exit 290. Turn right onto Chapel Hill Road and then left on Edward Mill Road before taking a right on Trinity Road. The stadium will be on the left. The approximate drive time is two hours and 15 minutes. The parking fee is $10, and Havelock fans should park in the Gate B section.
    CHARTER BUS
    The Havelock Rams Booster Club has made a charter bus available for the trip. The cost is $30, which includes a game ticket. Email hhsramsboosterclub@yahoo.com or call Joe Hailey at 447-4134.
    WEATHER
    The National Weather Service expects rain to develop in Raleigh from mid-morning to early afternoon on Saturday with a high temperature of 54 degrees. The stadium does not permit umbrellas.
    ON THE AIR
    Time Warner Cable will broadcast the game live on Ch. 521, and it will be live-streamed on the web at www.news14.com.
