Aron Rossi allowed just one hit over five innings as Havelock won its first game in Coastal 3A Conference with a 14-0 victory over White Oak Friday in Jacksonville.



Rossi struck out seven and gave up a lone single to White Oak’s Scotty White in the third inning for the Rams. He also walked a batter.



The Rams scored four runs in the second inning and added four more in the third. Havelock closed out the contest with a five-run fifth.



At the plate, Cameron Carpenter was 3-for-3 with three doubles and three RBIs for Havelock, which totaled nine hits in the contest.



The Rams improved to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference.



Havelock is next scheduled to play Washington at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Havelock High.
