The Havelock High boys basketball team dropped its first Coastal 3A Conference game of the season, falling 79-55 to South Central on Tuesday night in Greenville.
With the loss, the Rams fall to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in the league heading into Fridayís conference game at Jacksonville.

South Centralís girls got 23 points from Kaylin Reid in defeating Havelock 57-43 on Tuesday night.
Chrystall Jerome and Daneisha Murray each added 11 for the Falcons.
Natalie Johnson was the only player to hit double figures for Havelock with 15 points, while Vanessa Coyne had seven, and Apriel Barrette and Shaolin McKinley tallied six each.
The Rams are now 1-3 in Coastal 3A Conference play.
Last week, Havelockís boys beat Washington 75-57 in a league contest, ending a two-game losing streak.
The Rams had five players in double figures and shot 53 percent from the field for the contest.
Zack Bruns led Havelock with 19 points, while Pharoh Cooper came off the bench to hit for 14 points with seven rebounds. Matt Prichard totaled 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Matt Boykin also had 12 points and Michael Bowman totaled 11 points.
The Rams jumped out to a 19-12 lead in the first quarter and maintained the advantage at halftime, 37-30.
Havelock began to pull away in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 58-45, and then held Washington to just 12 points in the fourth quarter to get the victory.
