A section of Webb Boulevard is scheduled to be closed Wednesday and Thursday for a sewer line repair.

Both lanes of the road will be closed from Cedar Ridge Lane to Glenn Drive, according to a release from Havelock’s Public Services Department.

A disruption in service was reported at a residence in the area, and crews determined the cause was a collapsed line at its connection with the main sewer line that runs below the street. The pipe is about 10 to 12 feet below the surface of the road, according to the release.

Cieszko Construction will handle the repair, which is expected to take two days to complete.

Drivers will be required to find an alternate route, which would include possible use of Shipman Road, McCotter Boulevard or East Main Street to get around the blocked area of the road.
