  • Letter: Wrong to use tax money on 9/11 memorial

  • I was going to go into a lot of detail but letís just cut right to the chase. What happened on Sept 11, 2001, was an inside job, done by our government under Bush and the Mossad.
  • I was going to go into a lot of detail but letís just cut right to the chase. What happened on Sept 11, 2001, was an inside job, done by our government under Bush and the Mossad.
The city of Havelock took my tax money and obtained a piece of metal left over from the World Trade Center. The original story was that all metal from the WTC was shipped to China and recycled. Yet one piece was made available to anyone who wanted it. What story are we to believe? Why did Havelock get it and not a dozen other cities, cities of more importance?
Then the city took more of my tax money and builds a monument to the incident that took place on Sept. 11, 2001, a monument that looks like an erect phallus.
This monument to what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, is like all others around the country. They are nothing but symbols that generate hate, hate against a group of people that did nothing to us, the United States of America. These people, since 2002, have been fighting for their very survival against an aggressive force, the United States of America and the United Nations.
I know a lot of people around Havelock who dislike me for these statements and other things that I have said and done, but the truth must be known. Why wouldnít you believe the truth? Most of you want to believe that the U.S. government would not lie to you and that they are correct most/all the time. Wrong, you have been brain-washed and have been drinking the Kool-Aid.
If there is a G-D, then G-D help us all.
Richard C. Evey, Morganton and Havelock
Editorís Note: More than one piece of steel from the World Trade Center became available to be used for 9/11 memorials, and Havelock is not the only city in the country to receive one.
